al·che·my /ˈalkəmē/ noun:

a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination.

It may look like and feel like magic, but it is ultimately science.

…it is the reward that makes it look like magic…

Demystification of the learning process

SETTING
  • We will scout your space, litterally and figuratively, for everything that is useful – language is influenced by life (apps, podcasts, books, tv series, movies, products, people, props, songs YOU decide)-.
  • Routine creates comfort and commitment. We will meet  minimum once a week, every time at the same time.
  • Don’t forget your coffee or tea, if you want, even a snack is more than welcome.
GOAL
  • We advance thru challenging steps yet with a reasonable probability for success, one day at a time.
  • Memory is target oriented, once aimed, you know what you are doing, making the progress tangible and simpler. I set the goals and you know them in advance, before every lesson.
MEMORY
  • We recycle the knowledge yet we don’t repeat ourselves. We build up thru an accumulative process that complexifies as it goes.
  • We will use visual, auditory support as well as fun surprise daily activities, cause life is full of surprises if we just look around!
  • The constant use of an acquired skill makes the new skill shed light on the previous and so on.
  • This kind of progress as well as its rythm will be guaranteed by your own work.
RESULTS AND MOTIVATION
  • Results bring more results, they compound.
  • “When you get good at something, you start liking it”, Seth Godin.
  • Having access to a new web of information, art and people.
  • The best way to keep learning a language, and for the knowledge to stay, is ultimately to get closer to the cultures that thrive thru them (books, music, etc and by knowing your taste I can help you with that).
